GRANBURY - Bobbie J. Fleming, 84, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister went home on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017.
Bobbie was a loving and giving person who devoted her life to serving her Heavenly Father and his children. She loved being of service to the elderly. She was a poetess and loved to read, especially her scriptures. She was a lifelong learner and a teacher to many. She was treasured by her family and will be missed by many whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Corbitt and Maude Mae Edmondson; husband, Clinton Russell Mayfield; and sisters, Dorothy Ham and Estelle Evertson.
Survivors: Husband, Elbert Leon Fleming; daughters, Joy Ellis and husband, Tommy and Della Andersen and husband, Aaron; son, Darrell Mayfield and wife, Jackie; sister, Stella Lee; brother, TC (Ed) Edmondson and wife, Carlene; granddaughters, Erika Doyle and husband, John Fennel, Trechelle Andersen and Amy Wolverton and Whitney Mayfield; grandsons, Clinton Landers, Nicholas Andersen and wife, Lindsey, Joseph Mayfield Platt and wife, Tiffany and grandson C.J. Bias; great-granddaughters, Rebecca Doyle, Jacqulyn Fennel and Avery Andersen; great-grandson, Logan Marks; great-granddaughter, Isla Wiedner; great-great-grandson, Noah Wallace; and her stepchildren, Cathy, Steve, Joe, and Roy Fleming.
