James Richard Liddle
October 30, 1973 - August 30, 2017
James Richard Liddle, II, age 43, passed away peacefully August 30, 2017 after a hard fought, six year battle with cancer. Rick was a devoted husband of 14 and half years to Tamarra, and loving and proud father to Hannah (12) and Caleb (9). He leaves behind his mother Mary, brother David, sister Sandy, brother-in-law Preston, sister-in-law Kim, nieces and a nephew, lots of extended family and countless friends.
Rick lived most of his life in Arlington, but also spent a small amount of his childhood in Colorado when his father, an airline pilot was based in Denver. After graduating from high school in 1992, Rick began his life-long love of all things computers and started learning programming languages. He loved learning new computer languages and using them to write countless lines of code. Rick also had a passion for tennis. Rick played tennis all through school and into his adulthood. Rick and Tamarra met through a mutual tennis friend in 2002. They were married the next year. Rick and Tamarra welcomed daughter Hannah in November of 2004 and moved to Corpus Christi to be near Tamarra's family. Son Caleb followed in February of 2008. Rick and family moved back to the DFW area in 2011. Rick was an active member at Messiah Lutheran Church in Keller for the six years he was a member.
Rick joins his father Jim, Mother-in-law Beverley and Father-in-law Larry in heaven. He will be missed by all he left behind, but we all take comfort in knowing that his pain is finally behind him and he is whole again in body and soul.
