Brenda Lee McVey was born in Des Moines on December 17, 1949 to Carl and Delores (Ward) McVey. Her marriage to Robert Kneuper took place on November 12, 1993, at the Madison County Court House in Wint aserset. Brenda was a homemaker most of her life so she could be at home to raise her children. After her kids were raised, Brenda worked for 20 years at Master Jack's concession during the Iowa State Fair. She was not one to join groups or clubs but was more private, enjoying time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed crocheting, making afghans and she was quite handy at crafts. She was outspoken and you knew where you stood with her whether you asked for her opinion or not and she love to make others laugh.  All this said she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family more than anything. Brenda is survived by her husband, Robert Kneuper of Lorimor; three children, Kimberly Utsler (Craig Rudolf), Kellie (Steve) Mount both of Winterset, Lonnie Matticks, Jr. of Runnells; siblings, Steven (Jeri) McVey of Des Moines, Dorothy Sherman of Osceola, Gary McVey of Murray; seven grandchildren, Nathan and Tanner Utsler, Ashton Mount (Justin McKeever), Briley and Carsyn Mount, and Mackenzie and Marshall Matticks and a great granddaughter, Etta McKeever. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Sara Cornelison.
