Marian J. Misiag, 92, of Clinton, IA, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at his home in Clinton. Mass of the Christian burial will be 10:30AM, Monday, August 14, 2017 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 9:30AM until the service hour Monday at the church. Burial will be at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Clinton. Pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus.

Marian was born February 2, 1925 in Krakow, Poland, the son of Jozef and Maria (Zuzek) Misiag. He was educated in Krakow, Poland. He married Adelaide B. "Heidi" Jaeger July 5, 1958 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Clinton; she died March 27, 2009.
He had been employed at Mercy Hospital, Clinton Corn Processing, Standard Brands, Nabisco Brands and ADM for many years, retiring in June of 1985.
Marian was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, was a 25 year member of Local Number 6 AF of L Grain Millers Union, The Polish National Alliance and the Clinton Moose Club.
Survivors include his sons, Thomas (Beverly) Misiag of Iowa City, Iowa and Joseph (Kerry) Misiag of Clinton, Iowa; daughter, Christine (Ramon) Tieso of Clinton, Iowa; grandchildren, Brandie (Amon), Joshua (Ashlee), Maria, Alicia, Quentin, Kristopher (Stephanie) and Amanda (Andrew); 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Jozefa Misiag of Clinton, Iowa; Brother-in-law, Erwin (Kathleen) Jaeger of Waterloo, Iowa; one nephew; cousins, Wes (Dorota) Burgiel of Huntsville, Alabama and several relatives in Poland and Austria.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helena Misiag and his parents.
Memorials may be made to Prince of Peace.
