March 27, 1959 - August 28, 2017
Judith Ann Schermerhorn, 58, of Rotonda West, Florida passed
away Monday Aug 28, 2017, after a short and sudden bout
with cancer.
Born in Revere, Massachusetts, Judith grew up and lived for
many years in Billerica, Massachusetts where she raised
her family. Judith lived in Rotonda West for 12 years,
and made great friends everywhere, especially her places of
work including Loving Care Animal Hospital and
Sunnybrook Animal and Bird Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Schermerhorn and her
daughters Stacey (Jason) Kaschof Bradenton, Florida,
MaryBeth (Matthew) Gregory of Boston, Massachusetts, her
grandchildren Maddie and Alex Kasch, mother Elaine Casey of
Arizona, sister Gail and brother Leo of Arizona, brother
Michael of New Hampshire,and sister Lois of Massachusetts.
Private services for the family were held on Saturday
September 2 at Lemon Bay Funeral Home in Englewood.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tidewell
Hospice (tidewellhospice.org).
Lemon Bay Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge
of arrangements.
