Nunzio Morelli, 101, of Woodstock, formerly of the Bronx, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 at The Baptist Home at Brookmeade in Rhinebeck. He was born March 25, 1916 in the Bronx, to the late Giancomo and Donnatella (Martino) Morelli.
Nunzio was a Postal Clerk in the Manhattan General Post Office for many years. He was an avid New York Yankees fan.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Novotny) Morelli, his children, John Morelli and his wife Frances of Lake Katrine, Mickey Morelli and his wife Christine of Stony Point, NY, Tom Morelli and his wife Laura of Glenford, as well as his grandchildren, Katherine, Laura, and Nicholas Morelli. Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where family and friends may visit on Sunday, September 10 from 12 noon to 2 pm. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.
