Lola Jean Pralle, 81, of Latimer, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton. She was born on October 11, 1935, in rural Latimer, to George Fredrick and Malinda Emma (Dohrmann) Pralle.
Lola attended St. Paul's Parochial School and graduated from Franklin Consolidated, class of 1954. She was a homemaker.
Lola was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Latimer and actively participated in many church functions. She enjoyed making rugs, quilting, sewing, as well as attending the seniors over 60's club. Lola always had a helping hand for others and spent many days driving others to different places and appointments.
Lola is survived by her brother Leonard (Kathleen) Pralle of Latimer, nephews Terry (Deb) Pralle of Iowa Falls and Alan (Annette) Pralle of Goodell, great-nieces and nephews Andrea (Kent) Hickman of Alden, Sara (Ryan) Schlichting of St. Paul, Minnesota, Adam Pralle of Hampton, Chad (Amy) Pralle of Clear Lake, Justin (Shawna) Pralle of Belmond and Lana (Kevin) Krefting of Urbandale, along with thirteen great great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Malinda, brother Ivan and two sisters-in-law Florence and Elfrieda.
