Sheldon S. Baumener

Sheldon S. Baumener, 64, of Penn Township died Tuesday morning in his residence.
He was the husband of Danielle J. (Pradon) Baumener. They were married for forty-four years.
Born in Reading he was the son of the late Edward A. and Ruth (Bohn) Baumener. Sheldon was the father of Christopher E., Ryan J. and Shawna A. Baumener, all of which will miss him dearly.
He is also survived by a brother, Kirk , of Shillington and predeceased by his other brother, Barry.
Mr. Baumener retired in 2015 with forty-two years of service, last working as a Combustion Systems Maintenance Person for Carpenter Technology.
He was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School class of 1970 and earned an associate's degree in engineering from Penn State University, Berks Campus, along with other continuing education. In his retirement he loved to spend time with his dogs, especially Ava, and eating out.
He was a connoisseur of the Investigation Discovery channel and a war history buff.
Private services are being arranged by Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple.
