David Keith Moungey
December 27, 1948 - September 3, 2017
David Keith Moungey, 68, of Portage, passed away Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, at the UW Hospital in Madison.
He was preceded in death by his father, Keith Moungey, and his mother, Betty Lou (Clarence) Voeltner, both of Portage; his son, Richard Gray of Alabama; and his half-brother, Gary Vesley of Portage.
He is survived by his son, Kyle Kettleson of Baraboo; and his grandchild, Elaina Faye Kettleson of Baraboo. Dave will be greatly missed by his friends, Bill O'Donnell and family, Jack Sommers and many other friends.
Dave was an avid hunter and fisherman. He especially enjoyed bow hunting for whitetail deer and fishing the Wisconsin River. He loved hunting duck, geese and pheasants. He loved his dogs, Duke, Cheyenne and Jimmy.
Dave was employed by AMPI of Portage for 25 years, which he retired from at the age of 62.
He will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
