Obituary of Charles Markham

Charles L. Markham, 70, passed away September 18, 2017.

Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, September 21st, at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76133. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Grand Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76164.

Charles was born March 16, 1947, in Brownwood, Texas to the late Alice Vogel Markham Brown and Charles Nelson Markham.
After graduating high school, he served two years in the Army, where he was stationed in Germany.
In 1970, he married Lynne Cohen and had two daughters.

Charles built a cabin on land he purchased in Coleman County. There, he enjoyed the peace and beauty of nature.
He retired from Bunge Edible Oil Corporation, and then focused on what he treasured most; spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was baptized and saved, and is now with his Savior in glory.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.

Charles is survived by two daughters, Lisa Gayle Markham, and Kimberly Dianne Moore of Arlington, TX; two grandchildren, River Alexander Moore of Fort Worth, TX, and Madelynn Sagan Lujan of Arlington, TX; two sisters, Pamela Sue Bell, of Brownwood, TX and Donna Marie Cummings of San Saba.
