Davis Daniel Ellis "Butch", 72, of San Angelo, passed away on September 25, 2017. He was born to Dan and Lena Ellis on March 11, 1945. Butch graduated from Central High School and went on to earn his degree at Tarleton State University. He was also a Machinist in the United States Navy. Butch married the love of his life, Linda Foltz Ellis, on May 31st, 1974. He taught as a vocational teacher for 26 years at Lincoln Middle School and Lakeview High School. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 43 years, Linda Foltz Ellis, son, Daniel Foltz Ellis and wife Wendy; grandson, Joseph Daniel Ellis, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
