Leonard Dingman, 62, of Webster City, died Friday, November
12, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m.
Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, with Rev. David Doerr
officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation
will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5:00 p.m.
to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday.
Leonard Duane Dingman, son of Vernon and Elsie Broyles
Dingman, was born October 19, 1948 at Webster City. He attended
Webster City schools and graduated in 1968. On June 12, 1971, he
married Jean A. Petersen at the First Baptist Church. The couple
resided at Webster City. He had worked as a press operator at
Electrolux for 42 years.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; daughters and son-in-law,
Robin and Chad Draeger of Webster City; Tami Roney of Charles
City; grandchildren, Colby and Kenadee Draeger; sister, Donna
Adamson of Dana; brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas and Sharon
Dingman of Southington, CT; Jeff and Barb Dingman of Webster
City; several nieces and nephews.
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty
Coleen Caquelin.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church and U.A.W. Local
#442. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and enjoyed fishing,
hunting and the company of Bridget and Berrie, their shih-zuh dogs.
His quality time was spent with his family, especially Colby and
Kenadee.
