MUSCATINE, Iowa - Patsy Anderson, 79, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the family in care of Chelsea Kuster.
Patsy was born on February 1, 1938, in Brazil, Iowa, the daughter of Marvin O. and Anna E. Drew McDonald. She married Robert E. Lee Anderson on November 16, 1956 in Muscatine.
She attended First Assembly of God Church and she was a graduate of Muscatine High School in 1956. She was an in-home caregiver for children. She was famous for her cookies and candies at Christmas. She loved crafting, children and especially spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Rhonda Anderson-Paxston and her husband Terry of Davenport, Kim Draves and her husband Steve of Muscatine; three grandchildren, Robert Wehmeyer of Muscatine, Chelsea Kuster and her husband Matt of Andalusia, Illinois, and Marcus Draves of Muscatine; two great grandchildren, Kylen and Kolby Kuster of Andalusia, Illinois; one brother, Emeral McDonald and wife Joyce of Blue Grass; three brother-in-laws, Bill Anderson and his wife Mar of Davenport, Ernie Anderson and his wife Wanda of Clarence, and Charley Anderson and his wife Rose of Omaha, Arkansas; and special family friend and her caregiver, Diana Donald.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert (Bob) in 2010; two brothers, Harry and Marvin McDonald; and four sisters, Peg See, Margaret Meade, Darlene Martin, and Grace McGehee; two brother-in-laws, Glen and Junior Anderson; two sister-in-laws, Cleta Anderson and Margie See.
