James (Jimmy) Edward Dunsmore, 50, Muncie, passed away Monday evening, October 9, 2017, at AMG Specialty Hospital due to an accident on Tuesday, August 31, 2017.
He was born on Saturday, April 22, 1967, in Hartford City, Indiana. Jimmy graduated from Muncie Central High School. He attended Career Center, where he learned welding, than started working in construction.
Survivors include his brother, Brian (wife Dana) Franklin; three aunts, Laura (husband Bill) Smith, Muncie, Roberta (husband Bryon) Johnson, Texas, and Roslee Adkins, Hartford City; two uncles Marshall Dunsmore, and Russell Dunsmore, both of Muncie; very special cousins, Robin Dunsmore, and Arlena Dunsmore, and several nieces, nephews, cousins; Jimmy also had several special friends, including Johnnie and Missie Garner, Michael Barnett, and David and Jessica Welter.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his mother, Eleonore Franklin; brother, Eric Franklin; grandparents, Marshall and Geneva Dunsmore; several aunts and uncles, and special friends, Steven Garner and his pets, Willie and Terra.
On request of the family, there will be a private family service to celebrate the life of Jimmy, which will be held at a later date.
The family has entrusted Elm Ridge Funeral Home with his services.
