Kathryn Kimmel

PEPIN, WI - Kathryn Kimmel, 64, of Pepin, WI and formerly of Winona, MN died on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at her home.
Kathryn was born on April 12, 1953, in Winona, MN to Raymond and Beverly (Graves) Mueller. She was raised in Rollingstone, MN where she attended grade school at Holy Trinity Catholic School. Kathryn graduated from Winona Senior High School and from cosmetology school in Winona. Kathryn married Richard Ryan. They were later divorced. She married Keith Kimmel on April 12, 1994. Kathryn worked in the retail industry for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crystals, spending time with her girls, walks on the beach with her husband and riding on the back of the motorcycle. Kathryn was a great caregiver who loved her grandchildren and pets. She was an angel on earth.
Kathryn is survived by her husband, Keith; three children: Christine (Derek) West of Washington state, Kari (Todd) Benson of Winona and Heidi (Shannon) Sobeck of Minneapolis, MN; seven grandchildren: Tyler, Caleb, Preston, Aaron, Nicholas, Summer and Mahayla; four siblings: Jim Mueller of Minnesota City, MN, Sue Wobig of Winona, MN, Jill Mueller (Kevin Kimmel) of Minnesota City, MN and Pam (Delmer) Husman of Winona, MN; brother-in-law, Kent Kimmel of Pepin, WI and by many nieces and nephews who she had a very close relationship with.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Mueller.
There will be a memorial service for Kathryn at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview, MN. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

I did not know your mom was ill. She looks so different in her picture here, but i did check it out to see if your name was mentioned and you were. I am so sorry for your loss of your mom. SHE REALLY WAS A GREAT LADY. I always enjoyed when i would bump into her in a store, but only once or twice over the years.. Your children must be grown by now.
