Savatore "Sam" Albani
April 18, 1927 - September 9, 2017

Salvatore Anthony "Sam" Albani, 90, of Hollywood, Florida passed away on September 9, 2017 at Memorial Regional Hospital, following declining health.

Born in Easton (Philadelphia) Pennsylvania on April 18, 1927, the son of Joseph and Anna (Causa) Albani. Following high school, Sam enlisted into the United States Navy during WWII attaining the rank of Corpsman. He was a very proud veteran who loved his country. For many years, he attended the annual barbecue at T.Y. Park to honor all veterans and their families. He was a communicant of Nativity Church in Hollywood.

Sam was a longtime resident of Hollywood, Florida, coming from both The Bronx and Mahopac, New York. Before his retirement, he worked as an engineer and draftsman for the United States Government. A lover of music, in his early years, he played the Mandolin.

Survived by his longtime caregiver, Julie Windholtz and several cousins.

Sam will be laid to rest next to his mother with Military Honors on Tuesday, October 17th at 11:00 A.M. with a Catholic Prayer service at the Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum.
