Larry Hinrichs, 60, of Fort Collins passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Medical Center of the Rockies. Larry was born in Springfield, Illinois on November 12, 1956. He moved to Colorado in 1974 to be closer to the mountains. He owned and ran his family plumbing and heating business, AAA Enterprises since the mid 90's. Later, on August 2, 2003 he married Kerri Williams.
Larry could be described as a very intelligent, dedicated and caring man with a vibrant personality and boundless humor. He loved to have a good time, and often went out of his way to take care of others. Larry was the rock of his family and wouldn't have it any other way. He was an "intimidating teddy bear", but to that he built special and unique relationships with his loved ones is an understatement.
He loved to hunt and collect items such as coins, guns, and model motorcycles; and enjoyed working with his hands. He loved to ride his Harley Davidsons and could often be found singing while relaxing with friends.
Preceding him in death is his father Arlo Dodd. Larry is survived by his wife Kerri Hinrichs, his daughter Ruby Ann Hinrichs, and stepdaughters Rabecca (Kevin) Simkiss, and Ronda (Ryan) Donahue. He is further survived by his mother Ruby Dodd, brother Craig (Michelle) Dodd, two grandchildren Dylan and Kyli, and his dog Harley.
