Margaret N Cislak
May 23, 1933 - October 19, 2017

Margaret Noble Cislak left this earth on October 19, 2017. She came into this world May 23, 1933. She was the daughter of John R. Noble and Ollie A. (Lewis) Noble. A lifetime Indianapolis resident, Margaret graduated from Shortridge High School and Texas Western. She attended Franklin College.

Margaret married the love of her life, Peter on June 6, 1953. They shared a love of family for 64 years. She stayed home to raise their four children, always encouraging them to follow their dreams. She was active in the Indianapolis Symphony board, Propyleum Club, National Society of the Colonial Dames of America, and Pi Beta Phi. She was an honorary Regent of Caroline Scott Harrison, Daughter American Revolution and a state chair of many committees. Margaret was happiest spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and travel. She traveled the world with Pete. They were a devoted team.

Margaret sadly leaves behind her beloved Peter; children, Gregory Noble(Catherine) Cislak, Carol Cislak (Pierre)De Smul, and Susan Cislak Sokolsky; sister, Barbara Noble (Chuck) Miller; grandchildren, Clifton Boyd(Anna) Cislak, Mary Margaret(Andy) Tresize, Adrian Francis De Smul, Neil Peter De Smul, Francis Preston Cislak; great grandchildren, Aaron Noble Cislak, Kira Madeleine Cislak, Sarah Margaret Tresize, Thomas Carter Tresize , and Catherine Louise Tresize.

She is preceded in death by her parents; John R. Noble and Ollie A. (Lewis) Noble; son, David John Cislak; and son in law, Mark H. Sokolsky.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11:30 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church, 7575 Holliday Dr. East, Indianapolis, IN. Burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Margaret's memory may be made to St. Luke Catholic Church.
