Samuel Wesley McKoy Samuel Wesley McKoy, 67, died on Thursday May 19, 2016 in his apartment at Nora Senior Apartments. Samuel was one of seven children born to Walter G. McKoy and Virile S. McKoy in Hampton VA. He was born on September 18, 1948 in Hampton VA. While living in Hampton he attended Phoenix High School and graduated in 19 As a young man Samuel had a love for traveling. Among his travels he visited Canada, Europe, Asia, Central America, and Australia. Samuel travelled with the International Church of God Convention from Anderson, IN. During his adult life Samuel accepted God into his life and was a member of Church at the Crossing in Indianapolis, IN for many years. He was a pipefitter by trade and was employed by NASA at the Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, VA. After that he worked for the Newport News Ship Building and Dry Dock Company in Newport News, VA. After moving to Indianapolis in 1977 he worked for Stokley Van Camp (Quaker) and lastly he was employed by Eli Lilly. His parents Walter G. McKoy and Virile S. McKoy and his sister Lillian M. Coleman, preceded Samuel in death. Survivors include his son Wesley McKoy, from Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by four brothers and two sisters, Walter G. McKoy Jr. of Hampton VA., Cleo E. Williams of Hampton VA., Vernon R. McKoy and his sons of Stanton Calif., Michael T. McKoy and his children and grandchildren of Gloucester, VA., Maxine V. McKoy and her daughter’s of Newport News, VA., and Kenneth E. McKoy of Hampton, VA.
