"Debbie - I was so shocked to receive the Algona paper from last week and read of Mark's passing. I extend my deepest sympathies. I hope the caring and concern of family and friends are a source of comfort. I don't think our paths have crossed since I graduated ISU; but I have thought of you two MANY times over the last 25 years since our Ames / Ankeny / Des Moines days. Of course, my sympathies, too, to his Mom, Al & Kay and the rest of the family. Jim Tigges, Phoenix, AZ Sentral Class of '80"

"Debbie, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know you've been such a true advocate for Mark and you are the epitomy of proving the meaning of "for better for worse." Mark was an awesome man, and I know you will miss him infinitely. I will always remember Mark for his allergic reaction to sweet corn--swollen lips! But he loved his corn! Prayers are with you!
