Emma Hinkle Thomas, age 86 of Lynchburg, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in Michigan. She was born May 13, 1925 in Lynchburg; the daughter of the late Richard E. and Frankie (Silvertooth) Hinkle. She worked as the manager for an apartment complex. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her first husband, Allen Joslyn and her second husband, James C. Thomas, daughter, Emmall Straub and sons, Allen Joslyn, Jr. and Richard Joslyn, brothers, Richard and Frank Hinkle and sister, Mary Fern Bryant. Surviving are sister, Joyce Price (Max) Ervin of Lynchburg, TN., grandchildren, Nancy Hopkins, Charlie Straub, Joe Straub, Matthew Joslyn, Ryan Joslyn, Allen Joslyn, Monica (Andy) Dolan and Melinda Joslyn, as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be at 2:30 PM on Friday in the Jennings Moore-Cortner Chapel with the Rev. Randy Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Lynchburg Cemetery, Lynchburg, TN.
