Norma Jean Anderson, age 75 of Cowan, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011, at Southern TN Medical Center in Winchester. She was born Monday, September 23, 1935 in Alabama; the daughter of the late J.Y. and Anna (Stovall) Hinshaw. She worked as a nurse for the Southern Tennessee Medical Center. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Anderson who passed away in 1988; daughter, Paula Bishop and sister, Anna Martin. Surviving is son, James Bo Anderson of Winchester, TN, daughter, Sue Lightfoot of Winchester, TN, brother, Donald Hinshaw of Cowan, TN, sister, Azalee Whaley of Tullahoma, TN; special friend, Charles "Chick" Syler; grandchildren, Jennifer Kilgore, Josh Anderson, Brian Bishop and Andy Bishop and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 1:30 PM on Monday at Franklin Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bill Owens officiating.
