Lavaun A. Postier, age 92, of Pine Island, MN. passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Seasons Hospice in Rochester, MN. The memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at Ranfranz and Vine. The inurnment will be in Pine Island Cemetery, Pine Island, MN.
Lavaun was born on October 20, 1925 in Rochester, MN. to Roy and Christine (Newell) Wells. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1943. On September 5, 1943, she married Murph Radke in Kasson, MN. They lived and farmed in the Rochester area. Murph died November 16, 1968. Lavaun worked for Disons and Anderson's Formal Wear and at Pace Dairy for 22 years. On July 22, 1972, she married Jerry Postier. Jerry died September 7, 2015. Lavaun enjoyed flowers and gardening, coupon shopping, and scratch-off lottery tickets. She had a good sense of humor and a love for cats and dogs.
Lavaun is survived by her children, Nancy (Bill) Ayers of Kansas City, MO, Dixie (Ray) Rabehl of Wabasha, MN, Butch Radke of Kansas City, KS, Mary Pierson of McLouth, KS, Danny (Connie) Radke of Oronoco, MN., Rollie (Bert) Postier of Oronoco, MN. and Sue (Austy) Postier of Rochester, MN.; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; her sisters, Marion, Ruth Ann and Sheila all of Washington State; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Murph Radke, second husband Jerry Postier, an infant son and daughter, two sisters, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Seasons Hospice.

"Aunt Bonnie you will be missed.I am sure you would have been happier at home working in your garden but looks like you were in a beautiful place where you could enjoy their flowers. I will always remember you taking the time to pick up Shirley and coming to the farm to visit with mom and of course having coffee and cookies. Loved listening to you ladies talk about the good old days. I know your kids will miss you but my the memories they have. Keep those flowers beautiful up in Heaven. Love you. Judy and Shorty"
