"Dear Jim and Joe, I was shocked to see about your dad. And I am so very sorry! Of course I remember being in Tae Kwon Do with you all when I was a teenager. Your dad was so nice and friendly. I think we were in the same belt class for awhile, but he moved way beyond me, Heidi and Eric! He loved being able to help you build confidence when you were young and he was right along side you in martial arts and weight lifting. He was so incredibly proud of his boys. More recently, I enjoyed talking to him and getting updates on you both when I would stop in at Jay Drug for a treat. Your dad was just a salt of the earth, decent, and all around great guy! I will really miss him and I cannot imagine how you are missing him now. I will pray for you. I am so sorry!"

You and he spent several reunions at my table and I will carry the memory of a long time friend with me. May God Bless you all. "

Richard Jaeckel wrote on Oct 31, 2017:

"John Wolfe was a treasured high school friend. He will be missed by all who knew him. My favorite friendship story about John has always been about our junior prom. We were both too shy or too dumb (or both) to get dates with 'real girls', so we went stag together...what could go wrong with that??? We even rented dinner jackets and 'cumberbuns' from Johnson's Clothing. Pretty expensive to stand around, drink punch and bull shit each other until midnight...neither of us could dance and girls didn't go to prom 'stag' in 1959. I will always remember John as a true friend. RIP Richard Jaeckel, Class of 1960 "
