"I'm going to miss you, Jerry. We both started at Norwood High School in 1967 and became friends and were in numerous bands together through the years. There were times when we didn't run into each other for a while, but it was always good to run into Jerry. We did some recording years ago at "Fifth Floor Studios" with Johnny Albert from Covington with some other friends. Jerry was always fun to hang out with and play music. I consider him a great musician on multiple instruments and an even greater person. I loved his sense of humor and he will greatly be missed by a lot of people and never forgotten. Until we meet again, miss you Jerry."

Deb Noon-Yee wrote on Oct 31, 2017:

"My heart breaks when I think about how quickly you were taken but you will never be forgotten, Jerry. Your music was food for our soul."

Meany wrote on Oct 31, 2017:

"I Am from Norwood, when I was a kid I used to sit outside the music store where Walgreens now dominates the block and listen ??'? to him play with a group of musicians. When I was 16 I finally met him face to face when I worked at Peters Cafeteria. Fast forward 30 years later when I met my husband and he came to gigs and sat in with the Bue Ravens and we actually got to know each other on a personal basis. It's funny how things work out, and I am thankful they did. I never had the pleasure to meet his family but I hope you find comfort in knowing he was loved and admired by so many. Truly one of a kind ??"
