Elva Mae Bringolf
February 27, 1919 - November 3, 2017

Elva Bringolf, 98, of Webster City, died Friday, November 3, 2017 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Chad Halbach officiating. Burial will follow the services at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
Elva Mae Roberts, daughter of James and Lula Barr Roberts, was born February 27, 1919 in Butler County. She was a 1937 graduate of Clarksville schools. She married Alva "Dike" Ray Bringolf on October 17, 1941 in Fort Dodge. She was a receptionist at Nissans for 22 years. She moved to Crestview in 2008.
Elva is survived by her daughter, Donna Bringolf of Webster City; son, Alva "Ray" and Marlene Bringolf of Webster City; step-grandchildren, Tom Bringolf, Mike Bringolf and Bob Bringolf; sister, Roberta Huelman and many extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; two step-sons, Raymond C. Bringolf and Robert Bringolf; brothers, Harold, Richard, Ruluff, James and Paul Roberts and sisters, Olive Phipps, Mildred Roberts, Reua Roberts, Bernice McCoy and a sister-in-infancy.
Elva was a member of Church of Christ. She was very active in Church Circle and was the treasurer for some time.
