Dixie & David Meyer wrote on Nov 6, 2017:

"Connie and her sister Cathy have always been close to me. Each summer I would go and stay with Uncle Doug and Aunt Maxine and babysit the girls while they went to work. We did so many fun things during that time and we have had many laughs about the fun things we did like swimming in the horse tank on a hot summer day. She was not only my first cousin but a dear friend. I am so glad that I got to spend sometime with her this last summer and take her to town to get a few things. She had that special laugh that no one could forget and can hear it now when thinking about her. Her love for family and friends is just one of the things that made Connie special. Always glad to see you and showed it. A very special and loving cousin and will miss her dearly. Sending a hug to Larry, their boys, their grandchildren, and her sister Cathy."

"I have lost a dear friend with Connie's passing. In the 54 years of our friendship, we never had an argument or cross words. She was everything a friend should be-kind, loving, fun and welcoming. I always knew I would have a good time and lots of laughs when I was with her. She loved her family completely, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I will miss her and our phone conversations and all the times we spent together. The last time I saw her we had so many laughs and memories to share. She has such a special place in my heart, for she is truly one of the nice people that brightened this world."
