Beatrice A Klante, of Antigo, died Sunday, November 5, 2017, at home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 87 years old. She was born on April 18, 1930, in Kennan, WI a daughter of Herman and Hazel (Mabie) Seeger. She married Herbert Klante in August 1950 in Kennan. He preceded her in death.
She was born and raised in Kennan and moved to Milwaukee as a young lady. She moved to Birnamwood in 1969.
For 23 years Mrs. Klante was employed at Langlade Hospital as a nurses aid and at the same time also worked at Rolling Stone Lake Resort.
She enjoyed knitting, reading and gardening.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey H (Myra) Klante, Antigo, Steve (Sue) Klante, town of Doty, Oconto County; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Edna Wulf, Nekoosa, Maxine (Dwight) Quisberg, Edgerton, Helen Saler, Ft. Stockton, Texas; three brothers, Alton (Genevieve) Seeger, Jump River, Fred (Marjory) Seeger, Lake City, Minnesota, Walter (June) Seeger, Loyal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and a sister Esther Peters; a brother, Robert Seeger.
Private family services will be held. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
