"Remembering Lorraine's time at High Pointe. She shared stories of Scotland, revived my African violet, shared her music with the dulcimer and song, friend to all, her smile was always present and was a "day maker" for many, participated in everything and was willing to try new things, and so much more. She is truly one that talked the talk and walked the walk. She is missed but we'll all meet again one day."

"When we think of Lorraine, the word "faithful" comes to mind. (Prov. 20:6). She has been a testimony of faithfulness to the Lord, her family and Rochester Baptist Church through the years. I remember asking her always on Sundays "how are you doing" and she always said "as good as anyone my age can be doing!!". Always with a smile and non-complaining. We enjoyed hearing her play her dulcimer, too!! We will miss her and look forward to seeing her in heaven!!"

"It has been my pleasure to get to know Lorraine Dunn these past few years. We sat near each other most services at RBC. I enjoyed her smile and handshake each time. I also enjoyed visiting her at her apartment at High Pointe now and then, where she beamed as she showed her "collection" of instruments. Salvation and heaven are truly very real to her right now. See you soon, Mrs. Dunn!"

"Lorraine and her husband Johnny were special friends to my mom and dad. My dad stood up for them at their wedding. It was always such a special blessing when my wife and I would be at Rochester Baptist to see her sitting faithfully in her place and listening intently. She was so consistent in her life and love of her Lord. We will not see her here but we will anticipate meeting her in Glory. "

"We will never forget the first time Lorraine came to Rochester Baptist. She called the church and asked for a ride and said she would be attending from now on as the church was recommended by an acquaintenace of hers. She was matter-of-fact about it and had her mind set! We loved that about her...never any sway or indecision with Lorraine! From that to this Lorraine was faithful. She played the dulcimer on several occasions and enjoyed being present for fellowships, missionaries, and special activities. She even crafted dulcimers out of cardboard for several of our young people to practice on and enjoy. She adored the old hymns and special music. Voice of the Martyrs was a special publication she enjoyed and shared updates with Pastor regularly. Lorraine will be missed and was loved dearly by the folks of Rochester Baptist."
