In loving memory of

Agnes L. Roney
April 27, 1924 - November 8, 2017

Agnes Louise (Morris) Roney was born April 27, 1924 to the late Frank and Ida Morris in Charleston, West Virginia. She was the fourth child born to the couple. Siblings Hubert, George, Athalene, and Frank, Jr. preceded her in death.

Agnes accepted Christ at an early age and lived her life in accordance with her acceptance and belief in Christ. One of her last statements was that she had not been able to attend services. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. On November 8, 1942, Agnes was united in marriage to George M. Roney in Indianapolis, Indiana, with whom she shared 55 happy years, prior to his death in 1997. To this union four sons were born.

Agnes devoted her life to Christ and her Family. After providing her family with the proper upbringing, she became a beautician and increased her extended- family with customers who loved her dearly. Her Family already knew she was an angel, but it was often emphasized when strangers would identify her as such. Agnes lived to do what she could to enrich the lives of others, however she could within her ability.

Agnes Roney is survived by two brothers; John and Clayton Morris, her four loving sons, George M. Roney, Jr.(Yvonne), Clarence E. Roney (Georgia), Frank L. Roney, and Kenneth D. Roney (Debra); eleven grandchildren, George K, Michele Y., Kristian E, William H, Jojuana M, Jason P, Byron, Thomas, Lindsey J, Frank L Jr., Leonard and Godfrey; 24 Great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, 1 ½ great-great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and uncounted friends.
