In loving memory of

Alexander James Duffy
June 1, 1985 - November 9, 2017

Alex was born on June 1, 1985 in Rochester, MN and finished his earthly walk on November 9, 2017 in Seattle, Washington after a brief battle with cancer.

Alex's early years were spent mainly in Rochester, MN and the Menomonie, WI area. As a boy, he loved to play in the woods and fields surrounding his home and he carried his love of the outdoors to his adult life in Oregon and Washington State. He was variously known as Alex, Ajax, and AJ, but quickly recognized for his infectious grin and wit, his intelligence, and his huge heart. He is so very greatly missed.

Alex was preceded in death by his father, Edward Duffy, Jr.; all four grandparents: Lloyd & Florence LaCore, and Edward & Phyllis Duffy; and several aunts and uncles. He shares the date of his leave taking with his favorite aunt, Rose Mary LaCore (2012).

He is survived by his daughter Forest Rosalie Duffy, mother Karen (Frank) King, brother Dain (Christine) Duffy, sister Rachel (Jared Weber) King, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also mourned by special friends from The Applegate and those who knew him at the Union Gospel Mission, Spokane, Washington.

While we feel lost without you here, Alex, we rejoice over your eternal life in heaven.
