Alma Lee Hunt Stephens
January 2, 1943 - November 12, 2017

Alma Lee Hunt Stephens, age 74 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving children and daughter-in-law. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on January 2, 1943 to the late Everette and Ada Hammonds Hunt. Before her retirement, she was employed by Shaw Industries. Alma Lee enjoyed watching dirt track racing and working puzzle books. A member of the Church of Christ, she will be remembered for being loving and kind, and for her strong will. In addition to her parents, Alma Lee is preceded in death by her husband, Cordell Stephens; and brother, Leon "Bully" Hunt. She is survived by her daughter, Connie McCarver Medley of Estill Springs; son, Terry and his wife Kathleen Parsons of Valdosta, Georgia; daughter, Sherry Stephens of Winchester; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Tuesday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev.
