Margarita W. Bayona was born in Staten Island, NY on April 29, 1933. She entered Heaven's gates on November 13, 2017.

A daughter, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, Margarita was a loving woman who brought abounding joy to everyone that met her. She was a God-fearing woman who faithfully served Him. Margarita was loyal, kind, full of unconditional love, and walked with grace and transcending peace all the days of her life. Margarita loved to be with family. She was a talented pianist, a wonderful cook, and a world traveler. Her smile could light up a room and her prayers ringed with angelic sounds.

Margarita was predeceased by her father, Franz Gigl and her mother Margaret Wunderink. She was also predeceased by her husband, Gilberto Bayona.

Margarita is survived by her daughter Vera M. Bayona, son Franz Bayona and his wife Nubia Bayona, and daughter Giselle Bayona and husband Rudy Gomez. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Ashley Caycedo, Kevin Bayona, and Chris Bayona.

Funeral services will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024. Entombment to follow on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Woodlawn Park North Cemetery 3260 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135.
