Rosalia "Sue" LaBella
November 5, 1917 - November 12, 2017

Madison - Rosalia "Sue" LaBella, Nov. 5, 1917 - Nov. 12, 2017

Rosalia "Sue" LaBella, age 100, left this world and all the people whose lives she touched on November 12, 2017. She was born to Giovanni and Lucia (Raimondo) Greco on November 5, 1917. Sue lived in Madison all her life in the midst of her family and friends. She graduated from Central High School where she was a proud member of The National Honor Society. She was selected, along with Carl LaBella, to ride a float as king and queen in the Columbus Day parade. They started dating, fell in love, and were married on June 25,1938. They were soul mates who loved each other for 47 years until Carl's death in 1985. Sue never stopped loving and missing Carl. After his death, she got her driver's license, bought a car and continued to be an active woman who enjoyed cards, travel, friends and family. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sue was sweet, kind, and hospitable to the very end. She was a wonderful example of love to all who knew her.

Sue will be greatly missed by her children; Angela (James) Romig, Joseph (Elizabeth) LaBella, John (Patricia) LaBella, and Carl (Susan) LaBella; her grandchildren Teri (Jim), Jake (Ashlee), Andy, Seth (Katie), Dominic (Daniella), Patrick (Laine), Sarah, Michael, Amy (Kurt), Jessi, Beth and Christopher; her great-grandchildren Michael, Jessica, Anna (Patrick), AJ, Bella, Carter, Cooper, Ryan, Adeline, Lucas and Madeleine, and great-great grandchild, Nora.
She will also be missed by her extended family and friends especially her sister-cousins,
Teresa Brausen, Vi (Vic) Martinelli, Mary Ann Manderino (goddaughter) and her sisters-in-law Josephine (late Ernest) LaBella and Evelyn (late Joe) LaBella, her goddaughter Antoinette Rose and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Heritage Senior Living and the staff of Agrace Hospice Care for the loving care they gave to Sue.
