Robert Lloyd Anderson (Bob), 79, of Hallandale Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home with his wife by his side on Saturday, November 11, 2017.

Bob was born on August 17, 1938 in Kansas City, KS. Prior to moving to Florida, he was a long time resident of Brooklyn, New York. He was an entrepreneur that built successful businesses in the Telecommunications industry in New York City and California. He enjoyed spending his summers in South Hampton, New York with close friends and family.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Louise, and their children Jeffrey Lloyd (wife Heather) and Robyn Michelle (husband Keith). Robert adored his 4 grandchildren, Ava Madeleine, Robert Jeffrey, Ryan Lloyd and Leah Michelle.

The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Fred Hunter Hollywood Funeral Home 6301 Taft Street Hollywood, Florida 33024 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at 7pm on Thursday. A private cremation for immediate family only will follow on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in tribute can be made online or by mail in Robert's memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation-Help Speed a Parkinson's Cure.
