"I am saddened and will sincerely miss George, especially when I usher 11:15 Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. He trained me as an usher 15 years ago, and it was always reassuring to arrive at Church, and see him already there providing assistance and making sure everything was in order. --David Marcou, Madison, WI"

"I have had the good fortune to volunteer with George at Luke House on the third Tuesday of each month, with other fellow parish members from Queen of Peace. I came to know George and he was a real gentleman! He was such a nice person and volunteered for so many events within the parish, he will definitely be missed. I remember him telling about how he enjoyed the Badger Honor Flight and talking about the "Mason Street Four" and how he and his friends enjoyed growing up in Madison and then went on to serve in the military. We are all better for have known George and will miss him! Tim Eisele, Madison"
