Paul A DeFeo Sr, 59, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away November 20, 2017 at Bayfront Health due to heart failure. He was born October 8, 1958 in Miami, Florida to Cloyd Vincent DeFeo and Theadora Mary Garcia. Paul was a local business man in the Charlotte County area for the last 30 years. He was known in the community as a Commercial fisherman and a small business owner. His passions were fishing, hunting, stock car racing, gardening and possessed skills as a mechanic that was renowned by many.
Paul is survived by his wife, Gina Marie DeFeo of Port Charlotte FL, four children Mandy Rice and her husband Kevin of Cape Coral FL, Paul Anthony DeFeo Jr. and his wife Rebekah of Copperas Cove TX, Sarah Josephine DeFeo of Arcadia FL, and Clara Patricia (Patti) DeFeo of Spring Lake NC. Six grandchildren, Savannah, Shaylin, John, Vincent, Abbygail and Logan; as well as his sister, Teddie Bei-Dameff, of Nokomis, FL.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cloyd and Theodora, step-father, Alfred F. Bei, his brother, CPT Ricky Vincent DeFeo and his beloved grandchild Patricia Ann DeFeo.
A Celebration of Paul's life will be held from 3:00pm till 7:00 pm, Saturday December 2, 2017 at the Harbour Heights Park Pavilion, 27420 Voyageur Dr., Port Charlotte, FL 33983, all friends and family are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to St Judes Childrens Hospital at www.stjude.org.
