MARY LOUISE HOWELL
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Mary Louise Howell, 80, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017, at the St. Mathias Church. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will follow the burial in Gannon Hall. Visitation will be from 9 until 10:30 a.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to the Ss. Mary and Mathias Parish. The Ralph J. Mary Lou was born on October 17, 1937, in Muscatine, the daughter of Wesley A. and Edith M. Fitzgerald Howard. She married Jerry P. Howell on September 21, 1957, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death on September 8, 2016.

She was a member of the Ss. Mary and Mathias Parish and the Women of the Moose. She had worked several years for Heartland Trim. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and taking care of her children and grandchildren.

Those left to honor his memory include three sons, Randy Howell and wife, Cindy, of Muscatine, Mark A. Howell and significant other, Kelly, of Muscatine, and Christopher Howell and wife, Jenny, of Muscatine; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Kylee, Kory, Collin, Owen, and Emma; one great-granddaughter, Kinley Felder; one brother, Robert Howard and wife, Nancy; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Catherine Mary Howell Zellmer on July 19, 2010; and two brothers, Thomas and William Howard.
