Don Henry Kratsch
April 24, 1942 - October 15, 2017

Don Henry Kratsch age 75 of Centerville and Three Lakes WI took his final flight on October 15. Survived by wife Sue sons Charlie Brenda and Rob daughter Cyndi Tony Pasma and 7 grandchildren.

Don was born in Oshkosh WI on 24 April 1942. He spent summers on the water canoeing sailing and water-skiing. He attended Oberlin College and graduated from the University of Colorado becoming a flight instructor and later earning a floatplane rating. At West Publishing and later at American Express Financial Advisors he was responsible for the acquisition of mainframe computer hardware; his skill in principled negotiation won him friends throughout the industry. After retirement he worked with son Charlie in founding the Infinite Campus software company where he served as CFO and Director.

Don loved nature the woods and caring for his land and cabin near Three Lakes. In 1983 Don with help from family hand-planted 10000 Norway pines on his property established a tree farm and became Tree Farmer of the Year for Oneida County. Two conservation easements on the property are held by the Northwoods Land Trust.
