Randall Martin Cordero
February 11, 1948 - November 9, 2017

Randall Cordero, passed away on November 9, 2017 at Community Hospital North, Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 69. He was the husband of Antonia Cordero, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage. Randy deeply cherished his family and is survived by his wife Antonia and their children Yvonne, Katarina, Rebecca, Martin, Ida, and seven grandchildren.
Randy was the son of Adolpho and Beverly Cordero. After graduating high school in 1966, he immediately enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served as an aircraft pneudraulic systems and scheduling technician. Randy served in various countries in the Pacific and European theaters of operations such as the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Hawaii, Germany, and Spain to name a few. After 25 years of faithful service, he retired at the rank of Master Sergeant at his last duty station, Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota in 1991.
Being a member of the VFW was very important to Randy. It gave him a great sense of pride to be a part of something larger than himself. He loved serving alongside his fellow veterans, the military, and local communities. Randy will be remembered for his great sense of humor, generosity, kindness, his love of sports, reading, stimulating conversations, and most of all his country and family.
Family and friends are welcome to Crown Hill Funeral Home for his visitation service held on December 2, 2017 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Memorial service will begin at 1:00 pm, in the funeral home then proceed to Crown Hill Cemetery where Randy's ashes will be interred. A reception will immediately follow and be held in the Celebration Room.
