LaVonne Mae Hansen

LaVonne Mae Hansen was born November 25, 1927 in Schaller, daughter of Leslie and Julia (Boss) Robinson. In 1936 her family moved to Estherville where she worked at Orlean's Café for her mother. She had many different jobs throughout her life.

LaVonne was married on June 6, 1954 to Arlowe Hansen in Estherville. They moved to Ringsted where they began to raise their family and then moved to Fenton in 1967. LaVonne was spiritual and had great faith. She enjoyed playing cards, working on puzzles, especially Sudoku puzzles, crocheting, and reading. She was very low maintenance and self-efficient.

On November 28, 2017 LaVonne passed away peacefully at the age of 90 at The Good Samaritan Society-Algona.
LaVonne is survived by her children; Carol Campe of Algona, Betty Myer of Humboldt, Marvin (Linda) Hansen of Fenton, Marilyn (Dwaine) Berte of Algona, sister; Virgil Knox of Esterville, 11 grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

LaVonne was preceded in death by her husband; Arlowe, parents, brothers; Donald L. Robinson and Duane L. Robinson, son-in-law Ken Campe, and Granddaughter; Angela Myer.
