"Dear Rob and Family, I was so saddened to hear of Katie's passing. During my time with the Winborn's I only have warm memories of Katie. I always enjoyed seeing the two of you on occasion at CDD when I was working there as a graduate student. I have been following your updates on Caring Bridge over the past two years and was overwhelmed by your love, thoughtfulness, respect, and care for Katie and your family. She was so very lucky to have you. May you find peace and love from family and friends during this difficulty time. Lisa "

"There are so many fun, fond memories of Katie-- the one that brings a smile to my face would be saving up our quarters and heading to Rudy's Taco's in the East Village with the exact amount of change to purchase an order of cheese fries (to share) and 2 cokes. Gone too soon. Thinking of the Winborns and Beckers. "
