Robert L. Miller, 77, of Burlington, died 11:11 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born on October 13, 1940 in Burlington, he was the only son of Robert Miller and Virginia (Mattoon) Brewster.
He worked for many years at the Salvation Army Thrift Store. In earlier years, he was a boilermaker and a printer. He was very involved with the Burlington area Alcoholics Anonymous group and enjoyed watching television and playing games.
He is survived by five children.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no formal funeral services for Mr. Miller. A private inurnment will be held in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery. According to his wishes, cremation has been accorded.
