Marie Josephine Kolberg
March 10, 1930 - November 30, 2017
FITCHBURG- Marie Josephine Kolberg, age 87, of Fitchburg, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2017 at home. She was born on March 10, 1930 in Prairie Du Sac where she graduated high school.
As an avid gardener, Marie was involved in the Sunset Garden Club where she was a Master Landscape Design Consultant and WGCP Life member. Marie was also part of other organizations including the Olbrich Garden Club as a charter member, the Madison Chapter of the Ikebana International Club, and a life member of the Wisconsin Woodland Owners Association. Marie's favorite flower was the Iris.
Marie is survived by her loving husband Clifford Kolberg; step-children, Paul (Mary) Kolberg, Sharyn (Jim) Bents, Terry (Nancy) Kolberg, Janice (Pat) Grosse, Karen (Mike) Stolen; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 SPEEDWAY RD, MADISON, on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 1:00P.M. until the time of service at 2:00P.M. followed by a private family burial. Services will be officiated by Pastor Jason Zobel.
