"We want to express our sympathy and let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. May you find comfort in God's promises in the Bible: (Isaiah 25:8) "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." (Rev 21:4) "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." May your loving memories and the Bible promises comfort you now and in the days ahead."

"I will never forget The famous speech Rick would give to the guys before he would take them on city walks. "Don't talk to the girls, don't look at the girls, don't even think about the girls!" Rick always knew how to make us laugh. He was a good friend, co-worker, and a great man. I give my condolences to Ricky's family and to the many lives he's touched."

Mike Dougherty wrote on Dec 4, 2017:

"Ricky made such an impact on me during my time at Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge. We drove him crazy but he loved us anyway, :-) The last thing he said to me a few weeks ago is, "I have nothing to worry about. I know Jesus so I know where I'm going". Today he made the journey. We'll miss you, Ricky Bobby."
