Louise Rowe
September 27, 1927 - December 1, 2017

Windsor - Louise Mae (nee Salzmann) Rowe, age 90, passed away on December 1st, 2017 at her home in Windsor. She was born on September 27, 1927 to W. Roy and Mabel (Fehlandt) Salzmann in Madison. Louise was raised in Arena, and has been a resident of Windsor since 1968.

In 1949, Louise received her BA Degree in Music from Carroll College in Waukesha. She was united in marriage to John O. Rowe on June 28, 1952 in Arena.

She was a Unit Leader and Secretary with U.S. Armed Forces Institute (Federal Civil Service) from 1950-1965. From 1959-1982, she was also a co-owner and operator of A&W Drive-In Restaurant.

Louise was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church in Madison since 1960, a member of the Daughters of the Nile, former member of Zor Arab Patrol Auxiliary, and a charter member of Gamma Theta Chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority (at Carroll College). She enjoyed golf, music, gardening and travel.

Louise is survived by her niece, LuAnn (Mark) Kachelein; and great-nephews, Jason and Adam, William (Veronica) Olien, and great-nephew, Camden. She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Rowe.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on December 13th, 2017 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, with a visitation one hour prior to services. A luncheon will be held at Cress following the service. Burial will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery.
