In loving memory of

Peggy Ann Giffin
May 26, 1943 - December 6, 2017

There will be a time of gathering and fellowship for Peggy on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Joyce Funeral Home.

Peggy Ann Giffin, daughter of Merritt and Patricia (Sheridan) Giffin was born May 26, 1943 in Estherville, Iowa. She was a graduate of Ringsted High School.

After her education, Peggy married Jerry Schneider, and to this union three sons were born: Mike, Mark and Pat. They lived in Emmetsburg for a number of years, and following a divorce, Peggy moved to Iowa Falls.

Peggy worked for Dr. Coffey and Dr. Cozine at the clinic in Emmetsburg, and she was very involved in the St. Patrick's Association in Emmetsburg in the '70's. After moving to Iowa Falls, Peggy worked as a receptionist at the Iowa Falls Hospital.

Peggy was proud of her Irish heritage. Her home was decorated in Irish Fare all year round. She enjoyed her farm, and spending time on the lake boating. Peggy loved music and playing the jukebox - especially classic rock and roll. Although a private person, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

On December 6, 2017, Peggy passed away at her home in Emmetsburg.
Left to cherish her memory are her three sons: Mike of Emmetsburg, Mark of Omro, Wisconsin and Patrick of Ackley, Iowa; her sister, Pamela (Giffin) Riedel (Curtis) of Valley, Nebraska; two grandchildren: Benjamin Schneider and Maggie Lyman; her special friend, Denny Storey of Dickens, Iowa.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, Jerry Schneider.
