Tamera (Tammy) Rae Moore, 49, of Keokuk, died at 1:17 P.M. Tuesday afternoon, April 17, 2007, at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.
Ms. Moore was born on October 23, 1957, in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of Robert R. and Ruth E. Hyde Moore. She was a lifelong resident of Keokuk, Iowa. She was employed with Roquette America as a purchasing clerk and in the time office. She previous worked for Keokuk Day Care Center and the Arrowhead Bowl. She was a past recipient of KHQA "7 Who Care" award. She was a member of the First Christian Church, United States Bowling Congress Women's Bowling Association, District Director of USBC Youth Association, and Youth State Board. She was the President of Keokuk U. S. Bowling Congress Youth and past secretary of the Keokuk Women's Bowling Association for ten years.
She is survived by her son, Ryan Moore and his wife, Jerrie, of Keokuk, Iowa; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Rachel Moore of Keokuk, Iowa; her parents, Robert & Ruth Moore of Keokuk, Iowa; one sister, Melody Stepp and her husband, Rick, of Keokuk, Iowa; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services were Friday, April 20, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at DeJong's Funeral Home with Rev. William Mitchell officiating. Burial followed at Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, Missouri.
Memorials may be made to Keokuk USBC Youth Bowlers.
