Linda Marceine Schuette, 59, of Camdenton, Missouri, formerly of Alexandria, Missouri, and Las Vegas, Nevada, died Wednesday, April 25, at her home.
Linda was born January 14, 1948, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of J. Maurice and Thelma Reed Bryant.
She was a licensed contractor and until 2006 was co-owner of AAA Garage Door Opener Company. From 1984 to 1998, she was general manager of six video stores.
Linda was an avid reader and collector of Disney memorabilia and loved watching Disney movies. She enjoyed water and water-skiing. She also enjoyed walking her dog, Kansas, who was her constant companion.
She is survived by her mother, Thelma Bryant of Alexandria, Missouri; her sister, Jennifer Herr and her husband, James, of Keokuk; two sons, Bryan Neill Schuette and his wife, Stephanie, of Las Vegas, Nevada and James Michael Schuette and his girlfriend, Shannon Cocilova, of Las Vegas, Nevada; one granddaughter, Samantha Jo Schuette of Las Vegas; two step granddaughters, Somer and Rachael Rodgers of Las Vegas; one step great granddaughter, Akyra Franklin of Las Vegas; and two nephews, R.J. and John Herr of Keokuk.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father.
Memorial services were held Saturday, May 5, 2007, at DeJong's Funeral Home in Keokuk with Rev. William Mitchell officiating. Inurnment was in Frazee Cemetery near Wayland, Missouri.
Memorials may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters or to Shriners' Crippled Children Hospitals.
