Richard Nathaniel "Nate" Robinson
January 15, 1984 - December 9, 2017

Richard Nathaniel "Nate" Robinson, age 33, and his precious daughters, Cailyn Jade Robinson, age 13, and Gillianna "Gillian" Isabella Robinson, age 8, all of Petersburg, Tennessee passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 9, 2017. They are survived by loving wife and mother, Elizabeth Ann Pieschel Robinson; and son and brother, Mason Alexander Robinson.
Nate was born on January 15, 1984 in Mission Viejo, California. Growing up, Nate always enjoyed reading, drawing, cooking, and the arts. These talents and passions were continued as he was employed as a Chef at Bocelli Pizza and Pasta and Majestic Ink Tattoo Shop, both in Shelbyville. Nate served in the United States Marines and was a gun enthusiast. He will be remembered as being a very protective, loving husband who was loved by a lot of people. In addition to his wife and son, Nate is survived by his mother, Lori Robinson-Herrador of Orange, California; father, Richard "Rick" Eugene Robinson of Bullhead City, Arizona; brother, Zach Robinson of Newport Beach, California; grandparents, Richard "Dick" and Vida Jackson of Monrovia, California, Don Robinson of Washington, and Jo Ann Guy of Tehachapi, California; and aunt, Lori Robinson Armstrong of Orange, California.
Cailyn was born in Camp Pendleton, California on January 22, 2004, and was an 8th grade homeschooler. She was the Robinson Family's "outdoorsy girl," who loved her goats as well as her dogs, cats, and rabbits. Wise beyond her years, Cailyn enjoyed reading, science, and art, and wanted to be a veterinarian when she grew up. An extraordinary girl, she was loved by everyone and had the ability to reach out to others and make them feel loved.
Gillian was born in Orange, California on June 27, 2009, and was a 2nd grade homeschooler. Like her sister, she loved animals too, especially horses. Gillian loved to dance and play dress-up; she was the family's "Little Princess." She had a very caring big heart and wanted to be a doctor when she grew up. In addition to their mother and brother, Cailyn and Gillian are survived by grandparents, Sherry Lynn (Miller) Ward of Columbia, South Carolina, Richard "Rick" Eugene Robinson of Bullhead City, Arizona, Lori Robinson-Herrador of Orange, California, and David Phillip Ward of West Virginia; great-grandparents, Richard "Dick" and Vida Jackson of Monrovia, California, Don Robinson of Washington, and Jo Ann Guy of Tehachapi, California, and Dorothy "Dee" O'Brien of Elizabethton, Tennessee; uncles, Jeremy Phillip Trey Ward of Lexington, South Carolina, James Eugene Ward of Columbia, South Carolina, and Zach Robinson of Newport Beach, California; and aunt, Jana Elizabeth Pate of Murfreesboro.
Visitation will be from 11 AM-1 PM Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Jennings-Moore-Cortner Chapel.
